Our Thoughts on Granite Springs Lodge

If you love the outdoors, you're going to love Granite Springs Lodge! This gorgeous premier event facility is just 15 minutes east of Mitchell, S.D. off of I-90 and less than 1 hour west of Sioux Falls, S.D. The location of this venue is in one of the most unique and beautiful areas in Southeastern South Dakota.

This sensational land is adorned with its own spectacular spring-fed rock quarry lake. Come to the shore and look into pristine water and see the many varieties of fish. The terrain, trees and topography of the land surrounding the lodge makes for a perfect and relaxing setting.

There's so much this venue offers, including accommodations for up to 115 guests! With hiking, fishing, kayaking and so many more outdoor activities... can you imagine the FUN that can take place for your wedding weekend? Not to mention, with so many unique outdoor areas you will have endless opportunities for stunning wedding photos.

This venue knows how to host a Pinterest-worthy wedding, just wait until you see where your reception will be held! Our favorite part of this venue outside of all it's beauty, is that it's truly a one-stop shop for all things wedding!

Granite Springs Lodge is Not Your Typical Wedding Venue

The Main Lodge

The main lodge is beautiful and spacious with over 8,000 square feet! The main level has a large dining/entertainment room with huge windows looking onto the lake. Also included is a 3-bedroom living quarter that boasts a master suite, living room, dining area, industrial kitchen and another amazing view of the lake. The lower level has six bedrooms (each sleep at least 4), each with their own bathroom and shower.

The Cottage

The cottage is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house! It's a whopping 3,000 square feet and is set up to sleep 20 guests. The cottage has an open floor plan design with an upper loft that looks over the beautiful views of the lake and creek flowing below. The main level of the cottage opens out to a large deck furnished with tables, chairs, a grill, and a fire pit. Imagine the fun memories that can be created here!

7 Separate Cabins Available

There are also 7 cabins to enhance and expand the opportunities for events. Hiking, swimming, fishing and yard games are but a few of the activities that can be done while staying at Granite Springs Lodge! The 5 bedroom villa is located next to the event center. The villas can sleep up to 16 guests. Each villa has a private entrance to the individual room in which includes a bathroom and kitchenette.

As we previously mentioned, we are truly blown away by the gorgeous outdoor ceremony setup! Then, look at the head table at the reception. How unique!

We provide the table cloths (White, Ivory or Black) beyond that all decorations are up to couple to provide.
